Sanitary Clamp, Series SH Type 1
The SH Style clamp is made from 316 stainless steel using investment castings to produce a high quality, precision fit assembly. It is designed to provide quick access to the joint for cleaning and inspection without sacrificing safety. It features a single-pin hinge and a bolt that fastens with a nut. It is offered in schedule pipe sizes with either wing nut or hex nut options. All clamps are CE compliant per the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and the Machinery Directive 98/37/EC.

The SH Style clamp is made from 316 stainless steel using investment castings to produce a high quality, precision fit assembly. It is designed to provide quick access to the joint for cleaning and inspection without sacrificing safety.The clamp has two halves that fit around a ferrule and attach with two bolts. Choice of wing nut or hex nut fastener.It is offered in schedule pipe sizes. All clamps are CE compliant per the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and the Machinery Directive 98/37/EC.

The SSH high-pressure clamp is part of a complete line of hygienic clamps made specifically for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries where joint cleanliness and efficiency are of paramount importance. These stainless steel clamps are made from investment castings to produce a high quality, precision fit assembly. They are designed to provide quick access to the joint for cleaning and inspection without sacrificing safety.The SSH high-pressure clamp is available in 304. Available tubing sizes range from 1/2” to 6”. Hex nut material is available in the standard brass or stainless steel.

Safety Sanitary Fittings and Clamps, Series Safety Clamp
The SH Safety Clamp is based on the design of the widely accepted 316 stainless steel SH clamp, which includes the ‘Omega’ internal profile geometry known for its exceptional clamping efficiency. The SH style Safety Clamp’s unique feature is the lower portion of the bolt is wider than the opening in the clamp’s gate. In use, the wing nut must be deliberately loosened so the clamp gate can be lifted above the wider part of the bolt before the clamp can be completely opened.

Safety Sanitary Clamp, Series Lockout
The Lock-Out safety clamp is an advanced version of the shrouded safety clamp, the wingnut has again been replaced with a shrouded domed nut, the shroud however is extended in length and modified to accept a number coded or key-operated padlock. Once the clamp has been assembled, the padlock’s shackle can be passed through the holes in the nut shroud stopping the hexagon head of the nut from being accessed and loosened by a spanner or socket set. The Lock-Out safety clamp ensures the process/piping line can only be accessed by a designated maintenance engineer who has the padlock’s key/number combination.

Sanitary Fitting Eliminates Deadleg, Series TCI
The new TCI ClampConnects® virtually eliminates the dead space associated with a standard ferrule. Using a standard sanitary clamp connection, the TCI ClampConnects® can be used with sight glasses, lights, instrumentation, rupture discs in pharmaceutical and biotech processes. This new patent pending clamp design eliminates the need for tools by using a standard sanitary clamp and gasket for assembly. Unlike other designs, there are no acorn nuts or studs that can be lost or cross threaded. TCI ClampConnects® come standard with 25 Ra. Finish. Each is constructed of ASME materials, including 316/316L stainless steel and other nickel alloys. Sizes range from ½” though 8” and are designed for up to 100 PSIG @ 400º F, depending on size and gasket material. The TCI ClampConnects® is part of L.J. Star’s complete line of process observation equipment that helps engineers achieve safe and hygienic observation of tank processes, liquid level and liquid flow.
