TCI 5 Axis Cutting

Looking to save time in your fabricating process? Tank Components Industries offers 5-axis waterjet cutting technology, allowing us to cut or etch the nozzle locations in your heads and shells, saving you countless hours of layout and processing time. Our large cutting bed and travel-on-the-Z axis allows us to cut large parts quickly and accurately. 5-axis cutting capability allows us to cut or trim any shape or angle. Simply send us your CAD file, and we’ll take care of the rest.

TCI Manways

Manways and handholes are a key component in a variety of industries, including pharmaceutical, extraction, chemical, biotech, and food and beverage tanks, allowing the operator easy access for inspection or cleaning. Available in low-, mid-, and high-pressure applications, our design is excellent for sanitary applications and can be provided with ASME code certification. Our innovative spring assist reduces lifting force and is designed for smooth operation. Our exclusive safety lock design automatically engages once the manway cover is fully open to the 105° position. The O-ring is retained in the cover, eliminating the risk of falling into the vessel. All our TCI manways are available in stainless steel as well as exotic alloys, such as Hastelloy®, AL6XN, Duplex stainless steel, or Inconel®. Sizes range from 8” to 36” in two-inch increments and can be fully polished per your specifications.

TCI Tank Heads

For more than two decades, Tank Components Industries has been the leader in the manufacturing of custom tank heads used in many industries, including pharmaceutical, chemical, biotech, cryogenic, food and beverage, municipal waste treatment, and extraction. We manufacture tank heads in a variety of configurations, including ASME Flanged/Dished, 80:10, 80:6, 2:1 Elliptical as well as Hemispherical and Toriconical heads. We also offer non-ASME options, including Standard Flanged/Dished, Shallow Flanged/Dished, Reversed Flanged/Dished, Flanged Only, Dished Only, and Dished/Flared/Flanged. Depending on configuration, heads can be manufactured from 9” to 130” in diameter in 1/16” increments with thicknesses ranging from 14 gauge to half-inch thick plate.

Our team of experts are skilled in working with 300-series stainless steels as well as exotic alloys, such as Hastelloy®, AL6XN, Duplex stainless steel, and Inconel®. Heads can be supplied polished using our state-of-the-art polishing equipment, nozzle locations cut per your drawing on our 5-axis waterjet, and with a variety of weld preps, including tapers, bevels, and lands. If you’re looking for a tank head manufacturer to partner with, look no further than Tank Components Industries.

TCI Cylinders

Tank Components Industries specializes in the manufacturing of custom cylinders. We offer a wide range of diameters and material thicknesses to suit your needs. Our state-of-the-art plasma arc seam welder ensures that all welding is performed to the highest standards per ASME code. All cylinders are available polished in a variety of mechanical finishes. Waterjet-cut holes and etching are also available to help expedite your fabrication process. Whether you need a stainless steel or exotic alloy cylinder, we can fabricate to your specifications.

TCI Machining

Tank Components Industries stocks a wide variety of stainless sanitary fittings. This includes Heavy and Light Wall Ferrules, Ferrule Caps, Tapered and Reducing Ferrules, and Tube Adapter Caps, all manufactured in our in-house machine shop. Superior to other sanitary fittings on the market, our TCI ClampConnects® and BoltConnects® have an aseptic design that ensures a cleaner environment, making SIP or CIP easier. The patented design of the TCI ClampConnects® allows the split retainer to be secured via a standard ferrule clamp, eliminating the use of tools during installation and maintenance. All components come standard in 316/316L stainless steel but can be manufactured from exotic alloys, such as Hastelloy®, AL6XN, Duplex stainless steel, and Inconel®, with various finishes per your requirements. Custom machining and design are also available upon special request.
